Unintentional Lawbreaker
Richie is a 21 year old male who has a history of psychiatric illness, identifiably oppositional defiant disorder and sociopathic tendencies. He is easily manipulated and does not readily comprehend the consequences of his actions. Together, these tendencies are a recipe for disaster.
With the prompting of his friends, Richie went on a road trip to Missouri. Though this is innocent enough, what his friends later convinced him to do was not. Upon arriving at his friend’s father’s cottage, Richie was convinced to break in. Not long after this incident, Richie was again convinced to engage in illegal activities involving a motor vehicle by his friend, Eric. Sadly, this was the last thing that Eric ever did as Eric fell off Richie’s van, Richie struck him, and Eric died instantly. Unfortunately, this was not Richie’s last brush with the law. One year later, he and his friends decided to play a game that they called “Be a Terrorist.” Armed with bb guns, they contacted law enforcement and threatened to blow up an apartment complex. However, law enforcement did not find their antics nearly as amusing; the state is vying for a 15 year jail sentence.
